The Meyer’s Top Ten Fall ’12 Collections

Part of my job, the fun part, is attending and perusing all the fashion shows. After a month of shows, there were a handful that are going to stick with me because they were that outstanding. Above is Chanel’s smoky crystal spectacle, which wins most amazing set of the season. Below is a mix of new comers and veterans that comprise my top ten list.

Above: Close-ups of the crystal-inspired Chanel looks. Need this faceted sleeve coat!

Above: Pierre Balmain: In love with this model and dying for the coats.

Above: Erdem: Amazing prints and embroideries, I have a serious appreciation for them.

Above: Erna Einarsdottir: Of all the Central Saints Martens students, she is a clear winner! Can’t wait to see what she comes out with next…

Above: Tsumori Chisato: Snow-capped mountains in neon! oh yeah and the sweet duds.

Above: Gary Graham: A little bit quieter than the others but not short of tons o’ texture.

Above: Mara Hoffman: Dying, Dying, Dying for every piece in the above pics! Amazing!

Above: Balmain: Fulfilling my need for a splash of the highly ornate in my modern life.

Above: Calla: One of my newest favorites! Masterful at mixing colors, prints and textures.

Above: Last but certainly not least, Vionnet. Impeccable lines, colors and the most covetable fur vest/top. Love, love, love.
