Construction has commenced on the lot on Driggs Ave. between Grand St. and N. 1st. They’ve put up big boards all around it so it’s hard to see what’s going on, but word on the street is it’s supposed to be a movie theater!!! Fingers crossed!

They are constructing a new 7 screen stadium seat theater in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. The cinema will include conventional concession, lobby and restrooms. It will be three levels and 22,000 square feet. The total number of seats will be approximately 1000.
